HDFC Bank — Transaction timed out ,amount debited but recipient did not get the money

I am Amrit Raj holding an hdfc bank account in Hyderabad India. I have sent Rs.20, 000 to my friend and the money got debited from my bank account and I received a message that my transaction has been timed out but the recipient did not get credited with the amount . HDFC Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. Verified Support Oct 12, 2020 HDFC Bank Customer Care's response Dear Customer, We wish to state that the referred transaction is reversed back to your account on October 09, 2020.
