[Resolved] HDFC Bank — unable to reset ipin using email otp + phone otp

I have been following up with hdfc bank for a long time that i am unable to reset my password using email otp + phone otp combination because my debit card is expired and i cannot use the other method. I called customer care multiple times and they keep redirecting me or hang up on me or bluntly say their email otp does not work and i have to apply for debit to do so.

Since i am a classic customer, i even tried to send an email to [protected]@hdfcbank.com and i got an automated email that issue is logged but no one cares to look into it.

I am stuck without netbanking unable to pay my bills and rent. This is totally not acceptable

I called the help desk multiple times and was lucky enough to get good customer rep once who solved it
