I have not asked for any debit card.
Bank has dispatched unauthorised debit card to me. Details:

We have noted your concerns expressed with regards to issuance of a new HDFC Bank Chip Debit card. We take this opportunity to inform you that in order to offer increased security to our customers and in line with RBI Circular- RBI/2015-16/163 DPSS.CO.PD.No.448/02.14.003/2015-16 we are upgrading all magnetic strip cards to chip enabled cards which will be completed by 31st Dec 2018. In compliance with the mandate you must be upgraded with Chip Debit Card. The card will be issued as first year free. Accordingly, the relevant intimation of Debit card conversion has been sent to you vide SMS or Email or Letter. We also wish to inform you that new Debit card with Chip+PIN facility shall be dispatched to your registered mailing address. In case of any change in your mailing address, we request you to update your new address immediately, to enable us to deliver the card. · Please note that if you are travelling, you may update your mailing address through NetBanking and we will arrange to send the card to your updated address. · Alternatively, you may visit the nearest HDFC Bank Branch and collect an Insta (Non-Personalized) Chip Debit Card. · If you wish to receive Chip Debit card at your nearest HDFC Bank Branch, request you to provide the Branch details by contacting nearest Branch / PhoneBanking or by email. We will send the card to the desired Branch, if the new chip card has not been dispatched to your mailing address prior to receiving the request. Please visit Debit card product page on www.hdfcbank.com to keep your updated about the card features, schedule of charges and T&Cs.
