Senior citizens savings account opened with min balance paid. Account opened online with hdfc representative from pune. No welcome kit received and so not able to activate account and make transaction. Kit overdue 1+ month now. Verified Support Jul 14, 2020 HDFC Bank Customer Care's response Dear Customer, Do note, due to the current COVID-19 situation and to prevent further spread of the virus, courier services are suspended. Once the lockdown period is lifted and there is normalcy, the consignment will be dispatched phase-wise. You will receive the dispatch details via SMS on your registered mobile number once the chequebook is dispatched. Alternatively, you may visit the nearest branch and apply for debit card.
