HDFC Ergo General Insurance — Claim not yet settled

Dear Sir/Madam
I have HDFC ERGO Health Insurance Policies Name is Health Suraksha
Policy No. is [protected]. Claim No. RR-HS[protected].And this policy I have since 4-5 years. Every year I am renewing on time. But in 4-5 year I never use this and last month I got operated for my Left Inguinal Hernia. I connect with insurance company and I ask them the procedure. It was not cashless but they told it will be reimbursed. I am working in Pune and diagnosed Left Inguinal Hernia in Pune I have Dr. Prescription also USG Report. And Dr. told me for operation as soon as possible. I planned for operation and decided to operate in Chandigarh as it’s near to my home town Hansi. It was operated in Government Medical Collage & Hospital, Sector, 32, Chandigarh on 23rd February, 21. And I admit in Hospital one day before on 22nd of February, 21. I discharged from Hospital on 24th of February, 21. And I have spent around 44000/- Total for Operation. After Discharge I again connect with insurance company and asked them what is next and they told me submit all the scanned Documents whatever you got from hospital to email address ([protected]@hdfcergo.com) and I did the same and send all documents on 26th Feb, 21. I have send all the documents including Dr. Prescriptions, Diagnostic reports, Chemist Bills, Discharge History with breakup bills, Pre hospitalized and post hospitalized everything. and in every 4-5 days I was connected with them for claim status and every time they raise query that they need this and that documents while I have submit all the documents again and again and again as per their query and it’s been one and half month now and they raise one more query now that they need Pre-numbered final bills with detailed break up of sub-section like consultation, medicines, investigations etc. And I have come back to Pune and join my work back. While i have submit all the documents whatever I got from hospital or from diagnostic center or from chemist. Hernia was diagnose in Pune i test in Pune, Pre-hospitalized test from my home town, Medicine and surgical things from chemist. I asked them what is Pre-numbered final bills for them and they told Dr. Should write all expenses on one page. How it’s possible? Hospital has given their final breakup bill whatever they charged. Disease Diagnosed in Pune, Pre-hospitalized test and report from my home town Hansi, Dist... Hisar, Haryana. Medicine bills and surgical bills from chemist shop why the Dr. from hospital will write all these expenses from here and there in Common bill. Hospital Dr. will write only hospital expenses and they give their final bills. While all the original scanned bills I have given them. If they have doubt they should inquiry with hospital or with chemist or with diagnostic center.
While I was checking same complained on consumer complaints website there is so many same complaints its mean insurance company knows very well that this is the problem client going to face in the end but they don't want to inform to client that how they want the final bills on early stage. I am not sitting front of hospital that I can arrange whatever they ask whenever they ask. They should told to client or to patient that please ask these bills in these format from hospital while discharge. After one and half month where from I will get now. In this pandemic time while everywhere people losing their jobs or salary cut and these insurance companies not thinking even how stressful time for us. Since I discharge it has become so restless and stressful for me because of this and on the same time 4th of March I lost my father too you can understand how stressful time for me. Amount is not small for me I just arrange from here and their thought will return after my claim settle.
Please need your help in to shutout this. Kindly advice what to do now

Good Morning
Thanks for your support. My claim has been settled now, after complained to consumer court with the same documents which I had send to them earlier. They were creating problem purposely. After sending them all documents also tried to make them understand on calls they kept asking Pre-numbered final bills. It was so stressful for me. Also It was so surprised for me that after sending all bills they keep asking the same bills every time. Was very very bad experience with HDFC ERGO. Thanks for your great support to solve this otherwise I had lost all hopes regarding this.
