[Resolved] HDFC Bank — charges deducted even though cancellation was requested prior to policy issuance | |||
I had purchased the Hdfc life click2invest policy online through the policy Bazaar portal (application number is[protected]. I had contacted the Hdfc life toll free number[protected] on 7th Jan 2019 and had requested to cancel the purchased policy of Rs. 50, 000. The cancellation request number i.e. [protected] was shared by the Hdfc life assistant. After dropping multiple emails for following up regarding the cancellation and with no replies from the team, I receive a new email with the issued policy tdetails on 8th Jan 2019. Despite me contacting the team several times, I didn't receive response as none of them were in sync and were providing me multiple solutions on call. Then I manually submitted the required cancellation forms in the Hdfc life vikhroli branch and the cancellation request was processed on 11 Jan 2019. The team has deducted certain charges from my invested amount and have not refunded the entire amount. I would like to complaint against Hdfc life as there was no fault or delay from my end and it was teams fault who did not check prior to issuing the policy and have deducted the charges. I have all the email communication as proof with me which was sent to the team multiple times. I need the entire invested amount as refund. Was this information helpful? | |||

My policy no[protected] ... has been matured on 21.01.2019 and got a message that the payout will happen on 23rd . today is 24th and credit to my account has not been done ...kindly help pls ...
