[Resolved] Hero Motocorp — Unhappy with the finance/lie about Ex showroom price and the unprofessional delivery by Vasanthi Motors, Coimbatore
My name is Zahad and I am a Royal Enfield influencer for Coimbatore, Tamilnadu region. I am a YouTuber, Motovlogger and an Instagram influencer (@mistercoimbatore) .
I recently got interested in Off-roading and wanted to use Xpulse 200 as a secondary bike.
I approached Vasanthi Hero showroom (Coimbatore) last month and the staff never explained me the finance process. When I asked her the interest, she replied that I will be paying only Rs. 6, 000 per year and also did not say from which bank she is going to apply, that’s my carelessness, I accept my mistake as well. I confirmed for 2 years and I thought that I will be paying only 12, 000 rs 24 months.
Staff said that I am eligible to pay 17, 000 rs as an initial payment and then proceed with the finance.
Since I had 50, 000 rs, I gave it to the staff to proceed with the payment but the staff returned with a receipt of 48, 500 rs and we have taken 1, 500 rs as a document charges. I have never received a proof/receipt or explanation for the document charges till date.
Later, on April 7th I received a message from HDB Financial Services about the EMI breakup. I installed HDB app to review the EMI breakdown and saw the finance provided to me was 90, 736 rs which was more than required, let me explain.
Forget about 1, 500 rs (document charge), I paid 48, 500 rs and the vehicle cost confirmed by the staff was 1, 37, 736 rs. The staff also confirmed that if I delay and make the payment in the month of April, the vehicle cost will be more.

Initial payment: 48500
Remaining required: 89236
I do not understand why HDB financed me 90, 736 rs on April 7th instead of 89236 rs and today on April 9th after taking the delivery of bike, there is a change in the financed amount, it says 91, 735 rs.

I really do not understand why there is an extra charge of Rs. 2499. Processing and document charges was already taken at the time of booking (1500 rs). Also, the staff confirmed that I will be receiving a Helmet but on the delivery day, she said that Helmet is not included in the accessories and there was no Tool Kit and First Aid box. Are you guys serious? In a way, I am happy that they will provide front and rear number plates for free on Tuesday, April 13th, 2021.
Also, the bike was really dirty with scratches on the mirror and seat cover but they have replaced it immediately. Few bolts and nuts were loose, I tightened the bolts & nuts, chain lubed and washed the bike in the Royal Enfield Service center where I work as a part time influencer.
You can refer to the images, videos for more clarity and also I request you to check Google reviews of Vasanthi Motors, there is no good reviews at all. Since, there were a lot of good reviews about the Xpulse on YouTube and excitement of me learning dirt and track race, I did not check the Vasanthi Motor reviews and ended up with a big disappointment. I will never refer Vasanthi Motors to my friends, relatives and family members.
