I recently had my hitachi window front panel replaced for rs 4000/- but it only lasted for 10 days. I asked the company to replace it but they denied. It was really surprising to see that the company did not replace\fix it as it has got crack in only 10 days after new part installation.

So to update on this, I have got few calls from Hitachi, wherein earlier I was assured that they will send someone to fix the issue, but later on the company is trying to convince me that panel will not break itself.

I want to make it clear here that nobody would intentionally break something within a week of installation that was purchased for Rs 4000/-

I think Company needs to improve on its customer support. Firstly, I have never seen cracking down of front panel of any other window AC. But it happened in my case with Hitachi window AC, which prompted me for a genuine front panel replacement. Within a week of replacement the newly installed panel cracked and the gap is widening with days passing by.

If this doesnt get resolvedin new couple of weeks I will launch a campaign against Hitachi to educate people not to buy products of this company as they have the worst customer care attitude.
