Honda 2 Wheelers India — poor and thoughtless customer service | |
I own a 2018 model, cbr 250 r which has completed 3900kms. Last week when i was casually checking my bike, to my surprise i noticed the front and rear brake pads worn out completely. Initiating consequential wear to the brake discs. I took my bike to the showroom @ evm honda, vyttila on friday i. E.[protected] around noon. The supervisor checked and confirmed the wear and asked me to wait. Later i was told the case has been escalated to the head office (Probably principles) through mail and we need to wait for their reply for further action. As nobody from the service center called me, by evening i called the service advisor mr. Rahim regarding the status of the mail, he said the vehicle would be returned the next day with necessary repairs carried out after receiving the mail reply. Next day i. E.[protected], as nobody from the service center called me i called mr. Rahim for the status and spoke to the supervisor. He said the pads need to be replaced and as this being a wear & tear part no warranty is covered. At around noon mr. Joyish, crm called and he offered a discount for the brake pads; which i straight away refused. He said a technical team is visiting the workshop and that they would look into the matter and call me back within two days. Also i can hardly refrain myself from mentioning the tragic service experience i had earlier. When i bought the vehicle there was a rattling noise audible from the right side kit, a nut was missing. They said the part would be ordered and will call me as they receive the part (Which they never did). Later i called and enquired about the part and then on its arrival, got it fixed. I had the bike got serviced @ 1000 kms for 1st service in june 2019. After taking delivery noticed there was oil leaking from underneath; a nut was missing. I called up the service center. They took the vehicle to service center, got the nut installed and returned the bike. Sadly the rattling noise which was audible when i first bought the vehicle has started again. It appears no final quality check is done before the vehicle is delivered. One thing is for sure; however good the vehicle is, your service is dreadful. With the vehicle well under warranty, i am wondering why i have to shelve something from my pockets; that too for the premature wear of the brake pads. If the standard and quality of one of the foremost safety related part is in this condition and that too for such a less driven kms what assurance can you give on the replaced part? I had handover my bike on 8th August 2019 with all required documents and at V J Honda Titwala But till date no any call from your side.
