Sir, i, dr. Gopinathan maranchery had been a great fan of honda cars and i had been a proud owner of honda amaze petrol since 4 years. Without a single breakdown i used it for 4 years. Recently i sold that and bought another honda amaze vmt idtec (20/02/2019). The vehicle started showing complaints from the first week itself before completing 300 kms. The engine warning light came on when started and i shifted the vehicle to vision honda thrissur, from whom i purchased the vehicle. They told me that electrical components are damaged due to rat bite and the estimated cost would be around 20, 000/-. They further clarified that the cost may go up if there are further problems. Now let me tell you frankly i'm quite disappointed to have such a new car with me. Let the wonderful, skillful honda engineers find a permanent solution for the rat menace so that no rat can ever fly high over them. Keep all important electrical components weii sleeved so that no rat can attack it. Nb: since last 30 years i had never encountered such a problem.
