Honda Cars India Ltd. — poor service from honda dealer (m/s vision motors private limited, cochin, kerala) | |||
On 23 feb 2017, i purchased a honda city i-vtec car from honda dealer m/s vision motors private limited, cochin, kerala (Reg. No. Kl-07 cj 8546). While driving home after taking delivery of the car, i noticed a sound coming from the left-hand side a-pillar of the vehicle which was quite annoying. The next day i reported the same to the dealer and i was informed to bring the car to the service centre. However, due to my busy work schedule, i decided to report this issue formally at the time of the first service. Had the dealer done a thorough pre-delivery inspection, this issue could have been cleared before delivery. Later that week, i got a call from honda customer care asking for the feedback at the time of delivery for which i had reported that i was not completely satisfied on account of the lack of proper pre-delivery inspection. On 23 mar 2017 (1 month after delivery – first service), i visited m/s vision and reported the issue to the service team. At the end of the day, the dealer informed that the issue has been resolved and i took delivery. I have enclosed the copy of invoice dt. 23 mar 2017 from the dealer wherein the problem has been highlighted. After 2 days, again the sound started creeping in. I again reported the matter and took the car to the service centre. M/s vision promised that the issue has been resolved once and for all and handed over the car. After a week, the same problem started occurring again. I was completely fed up with the car and the dealer. I spoke to the customer care manager at the service centre and informed my dissatisfaction. This process of trial and error method of rectification on my car continued for 2 years. Please note that during these 2 years i have visited the service centre at least 15 times reporting the same issue which clearly proves the dereliction from the dealer. I had even suggested that fixing some kind of foam inside the pillar would get rid of the sound but my suggestion went in vain. The service centre is at least 20 kms from my house and taking my car every now and then for repair was not practical for me. However, as a last and final visit, i took my car once again on 30 dec 2018 and reported the issue. After a week from the delivery the same sound is heard again. I now understand that the issue with the a-pillar is irreparable. I have lost a lot of my time running behind your dealer to get this resolved. Having spent a lot of money on a premium sedan and driving with such kind of an annoying sound cannot be tolerated. I would like to inform that my car has clocked only 13, 000 kms. Even if honda responds to my complaint, i am not going to give my car for a further repair because i have had enough bad experience with the repair. My only demand is to get a replacement of all necessary items pertaining to the left-hand side a-pillar. Was this information helpful? | |||
