10 reasons to prove this is a substandard company

1. Their terms & agreement clearly says "MONEY ONCE PAID WILL NEVER BE REFUNDED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ". This one term is enough for anyone to understand that this is a third class company. Please go to terms & conditions section & read for yourselves.
2. They only follow up with customers for collecting money
3. Zero experience or expertise in construction. Most of the times you will feel you have much better solution than they give. Looks like they have full of failed civil engineers.
4. Brokers who have opened an online platform to exploit gullible customers looking for quality work & trapping them with false commitments.
5. Zero visits to construction site. Only claiming of high standards.
6. Not paying the contractors they trap like their customers
7. Contractors use damaged & useless material since they are not paid enough
8. Trying to cover up crucial misses in construction like curing, construction standards etc.
9. Never care about any escalations
10. Their projects never complete.

Now, if anyone is still intrested in trying them, good luck.I guarantee you a definite failure of your dream project.

Below is my story:

If there is a synonym for Housejoy, then it is "fully incompetent ". I have given these guys a project of building a 200sqft room & repenting daily for last 5 months. When they took up the project, they behaved very professionally saying there will be a schedule plan, site visits by their engineers on regular basis & what not. When I did the payment & work started, they said its a very tiny work & will be completed in a month. Work start date was April 10th & today on Sep 10th I am writing this review after going through hell of a time with these a*******. They actually shared a plan after one month of starting work & after my repeated fights & stopping payment. Again the completion date promised there was also Aug 20th. They are nothing but brokers who hunt for contractors after getting a client. Nothing unique here. They take their commission & leave the client to deal with contractors. Absolutely no supervision on any work done. No site visits unless I forced them. They lie to you on daily basis on the work completion schedule for the day & no one turns up. Its happening to me for last one month. The only thing they do promptly is collecting advance payment from you. If you make one payment, then you are automatically in their vicious cycle of advance payments. Unless you pay them, they completely stop the work & after making 80% payment, they comfortably forget the customer. I have steel staircase material which they kept lying on my terrace area completely rusted for last one month. They say its ok to use that material for the staircase work. Such is their commitment to quality. Enough said. I have shared my personal experience here & seeing no end to completion of this project. I have had wonderful experience with other online vendors like bro4u, urbanclap, paintmywalls etc. But these guys have made my life miserable. Hope this feedback will help people looking to assign work to these people. Dont get fooled like me. If at all you want to give work to these guys, please have a legal penalty clause in place, else be ready for a hell ride.And finally "curing of building is not in scope" please be aware. I rue why google does not have a negative rating.

Update : Today is 19th September & work is going on at a very slow pace. Lots of issues still remain to be addressed. Clearly housejoy is behind schedule & quality... A big failure. A local illiterate contractor can do a better job than this.

Update: As on 24th Sep, still many pending work. Not even a single call from housejoy to check whats going on from last one month. Will be posting some nice pictures of their incomplete work over this weekend

It's been almost a 2 year i am following for my money. They changed dates almost 126 times, they are changing the dates and sending mails from last 2 year.. it's almost 126 times changed the dates. In 2 installments i was supposed to get my money as per agreement. I need to get 6, 06, 000/- rupees, for almost 1 year I received only 25000/- still a huge amount is pending. No one is responding properly still waiting for huge can anyone help me here.
