Sir, I bought a HP laptop on 1st Jan 2016 due to some problem they changed my laptop's motherboard in Oct 2016 under warranty but they put a duplicate and old motherboard. Now it was creating some problem after some days of replacement. Now I want to return this laptop. I complained to HP about my problem they got the problem but here came new problem that the Serial number of my laptop was miss - matched as HP assistance was detecting some other Serial number and on laptop was something else. They asked me whether anyone came to me to update some software after changing the motherboard. It must be done by any HP engineer after changing the motherboard but they did not do which was a kind of fraud. The replaced motherboard is old too. When I was talking to HP help and support the technical team about what is the major role of serial number in a product. We can check whether the product is under warranty or not. Again HP assistance was show that product is out of warranty. Was this information helpful? | |||||
