HSBC Bank — False promise done by HSBC MakeMyTrip credit card

Hi, I was contacted by HSBC credit card company once I booked by ticket on make my trip. They offered me a 5000 cashback if I take the credit card. I checked multiple times from them about the offer and they convinced the I will get 5000 credit with no other condition. So I agreed to take the credit card for the offer.When after 2 months I did not receive the credit it they told it will get delivered after 45 days of billing cycle. Even that passed and after contacting them multiple times in duration of 4-5 months. They finally denied the offer and said that its subject to bank discrition. They have already charged annual fee and told they will not revert it even if I cancel the card. This is simply unethical from HSBC side to make false promise to attract the customer and then earn money by charging annual fee. I am going to request deactivation of my card on loss on annual fee. I request appropriate action to be taken. And other customer to be warned about false promise done by HSBC which is equivalent to fraud. Thanks, Vinay
