I have purchased an htc one x9 32gb/3gb bearing imei no. [protected] on 19/01/2017 from a retail shop at trivandrum as per the bill attached.
3 weeks before from today onwards, its rear camera is not working properly and a sparking sound is coming also when the flashlight is in operation. Front camera is working fine. When i approached the authorised service centre at trivandrum for rectifying the camera problems, they replied that, the repair is chargeable even in warranty period due to small crack occurred in the gorilla glass display. They informed that the rear camera and gorilla glass display will be replaced by the repair centre which amounts to half of the retail price of the handset and the amount to be paid by me. The small crack at one corner was occurred after two weeks of its purchase while it was taking out from my pants' pocket due to its polished metal body at rear side and gorilla glass face at front side.
I have purchased this expensive handset (Rs. 22, 000/-) as per the better quality specifications provided by htc.
I had a belief that the warranty of one year is for the whole product which covers the gorilla glass also as it is better than any type of display and costs large amount. The handset was working perfectly for the last 7 months after its display was cracked.
Hence i request that kindly do the needful for setting right the handset under warranty period without any payment.
