There’s no doubt that our local hyundai delear/service centre gives a excellent proffessional service to their customers... Given below is a letter which i had written to them, hoping it’ll be forwarded to their higher ups at hmil head office.. To, The managing director, Denzong hyundai, Metro point, tadong, Gangtok, sikkim. Sir, It’s been 8years since the day i became a hyundai customer, the very first vehicle that i brought in life was hyundai i20 (Magna) and all these year till date i had no reason to fuss regarding its performance/quality/services.. “not a single problem”.. And with same belief, expectations, confidence level, i went on to buy hyundai sx (Dual tone) in the month of nov - dec.. Feeling excited about my purchase i even spent an additional 60k to add some features like front/back bumper, side foot stand, chromium plates, etc.. Early this month on 5th oct. I had my send my car for its due 2nd service... The next day on 6th oct. Feeling jubilant seeing a clean & serviced car, i took it for a drive to visit a cousin at thathangchen, while on the way just few meters from the gate, the car came to a sudden grinding halt, with no knowledge whatsoever about what might have gone wrong, i came out to inspect.. On careful inspection i saw my left side tyre touching the under layer of side bonnet, i noticed the driving shaft to be broken.., i kept recalling if ever the underbelly of vehicle was ever hit, that moment i assumed that maybe my driver did it & kept silent abt it... Kind enough the next day ur service centre staff came & took the vehicle to ur workshop... Ever since 7th oct the vehicle has been there, and only today they dismantled the damaged area, but to my surprise there’s not a single sign that can confirm that it was caused due to impact, even the head mechanic can’t ascertain the reason behind this mechanical failure.. Sir, as a sincere /genuine customer my only request is that you should carry out a proper investigation over this failure, and come out with some reasonable/sensible answer, as to why it happened..? I would willingly accept if the mistake is on my part... But if its a mechanical failure on the company's part then u must talk to your counterparts & find a rightful solution to this matter... I sincerely hope your centre will not deprive me (A genuine customer) from getting what i am entitled to get genuinely... Btw this incident still has not lowered my trust/ confidence on the brand name “hyundai”..... Such rare failures do happen... But my only request to you is to do what is rightful...
