Hyundai Motor India — engine seizure only after 35000 kms | |||
I am one of your loyal customers in allahabad and proud owner of hyundai cars for the past 10 years. After years of trust and satisfaction with my previous hyundai santro car, i bought hyundai i10 grand sportz having the registered no. Up 70 dz 8484 in september 2017. As a matter of fact, i felt immensely satisfied with my association with the hyundai cars and there had been never an occasion to complain. Since i have immense faith in the service provided by the hyundai company i have always got the vehicle serviced by hyundai authorised service station according to the prescribed schedule. Though the service personnel/agency is very considerate and helpful, i had been never informed at any point in the past that my vehicle’s condition had been deteriorating. Recently, i took my vehicle for check-up and it was informed by the authorised service personnel that the engine of my vehicle is malfunctioning and advised me to carry out repairs which are expected to cost heavily. Copy of the document received from the authorised service station/ workshop (M/s dee motors) is attached for your ready reference. This is indeed a serious blow for a customer like me. I am shocked that my vehicle has run only about 34000 kilometres and it is very unusual for the engine of my car to seize in such a short time. I found out that there are similar reports from other customers and the happening is not auspicious for the brand of hyundai car i trusted most. As a loyal patron of the brand, i have very often referred several respectable members of the society and my close acquaintances to buy hyundai cars. But now i feel terribly embarrassed to even tell anyone that my new self driven car has got engine seizure after merely 35000 kms. It is my firm belief that the hyundai might have inadvertently installed faulty parts in this instance which could only be detected after this much of running mileage. You may agree that this is a case where i need helpful consideration by the hyundai in consonance to the trust and loyalty displayed by me as your customer for the brand. I therefore appeal hyundai to kindly consider my case and help me by replacing the engine immediately otherwise i will suffer a great financial loss and my loyalty for hyundai as a brand would be shaken forever.
