Hyundai Motor India — my xcent sx (m) model (kl-26-f-2804) car purchased on 15/01/2015 break down due to engine piston jam nearly 18000 km | |||
Respected sir, I am anoop chandran, i was buy xcent sx (M) model car on 15/01/2015 from popular hyundai. Kottayam kerala branch I am servicing my car on every six month. I was serviced last on 05/03/2018. The total service cost is rs. 12641 including gst. Engine tuning is also mentioned in that bill. We are not happy with service they have given. Because we were servicing our car on every six month.. When i asked they have reported me that we have thoroughly check all the possiblilty and they ensured me that, no major complaints will happen for 2 years.. I am a smooth driver, there is no other evidence of wear and tear in vehicle, car was used in kerala where climate is not extremes, car service was done at regular intervals and no problems detected during regular service. Engine problem at 18, 000km is not acceptable and other car companies will laugh at hyundai for this . Now i am facing one problem regarding engine. We travelled for amost 11 km on 28/04/2018. The car was did not moving forward. So we called authorised service center popular hyundai. Kottayam kerala branch. We are regularly servicing my car with them only. And we are maintaining service with every six month. When the problem happen we report to service center. Thay came and towed my car to service center on 30 april 2018.. But they failed to identify the actual problem for almost 6 days. Now they are identified the problem, that happened in engine piston. They are telling that this happened because of overheating. But as per my knowledge we did not notify any overheating. Now they are telling the estimated service cost is almost rs. 30000. We are not at all happy with the problem happened. We come across some problem within one and a half year when i purchase the car. The problem we come across with in one and a half year ia s as follows 1. Engine oil leakage 2. Head light complaint 3. Fan belt got damaged and replaced That we report these issues to popular hyundai. When i asked the issue to some of my friend who is working in service section. They told me about the fan belt issue, that will, never happen for upto 80000 km on regular basis. But this happened on 6500 km.. We purchased this car on 2015 january. Before that we are used santro for 7 years. That also we are purchased from showroom mgf kerala. That is why we purchase hyundai xcent car. Because we are happy with santro and m g f service. When we are planned for xcent, we are faced some issue, car was not available that time. Atlast we got car from popular hyundai. We are not happy with the service they are giving. They only focus on bill, not customer satisfaction. Actually i am very upset regarding this issues. I really need your intervention in this matter and try to get me justice and compensation for the mental trauma and inconvenience faced by me.
