Hyundai — Low quality products | |||||
Iam owning hyundai i20 asta crdi 2013 model. Total km done so far – 28000. I was having some issues with the car like thick black smoke coming out of exhaust and very poor power delivery. I have contacted several authorised service centre many times for fixing the issue. Some suggested it is the problem with the wiring kit, some told impurities in fuel etc. At last i have given the car for service. After four days of some useless inspection they told it is the problem with the turbo charger. It seems there is a leak in turbo charger and there are carbon deposits in cylinder head. These where the problem identified by the dealer. They changed oil filter etc. But now also the issue persist. They also suggested to replace the entire turbo kit !!! Which will cost around 1.3 lakh. My question is how come a car which costs around 10 lakh will give such major issues within a short period of time ? It has been used only by me and taken care in such way that it looks pretty new. All the periodic maintenance has been done on time and still it having the problem. As a customer it not at all good sign. Spending 1.3 lakh inr for repairing a car that has done only 28000 km is hell !! The real funny news is each of the service centre i visited pointed out different reasons all of them are very costly too like replacing wiring kit etc. I want clear solution for this from the hyundai team, it is not at all acceptable to spent more than a lakh to repair the car which has done only 28000 km. If this case is not addressed well then i will be filing a case in consumer court stating the poor service and product offered by hyundai. Expecting a proper solution from the hyundai team asap. there is no mechanism for customer to understand if a car spare part is replaced by damaged or faulty spare part by the service center. Hyundai despite being a reputed brand fail in getting any mechanism to track this by punching a spare part by seriel number and make. If there is a spare part serier number is imprinted on each part which is costly then service center cannot replace them with faulty parts.

Your bhiwani service station is very very very poor. I have an little accident on[protected] . But they did not return my grand I 10 car. They have lost car remote also...
So, I am not recommended to other yo purchase hyundai car in bhiwani. .
