Hyundai Motor India — Outsmarting the procedure of engine repair//JSV Hyundai//Jeopardizes the lives of its coustomers and family

Dear Sir,
I have already written two mails earlier regarding my car UP32GS6839.After servicing of my car at JSV HYUNDAI my car got overheated during my travel to varanasi. After that car got recovey to lucknow on 23 august.

After the inspection and diagnostics of engine the technicians of the service centre found cylinder head gasket blown. At this instance I got a bit shaken up that how come a new car which have travelled only 6006 KMS can get such a problem . My car only got its first service done at proper time and that too from authorized service centre of HYUNDAI . After that also car got repaired at HYUNDAI authorized centre only .

But all this problem started after my last repair at JSV HYUNDAI which was because of sheer negligence of their staff. The same have been admitted by the service centre Manager Mrs. Rachna Rastogi who assured me that they admit their mistake and will get my car repaired as per warranty norms and engine will be working as good as new and same as before. I also get convinced as it was authorized service centre of HYUNDAI .

The repair got started they suggested me that will change cylinder head gasket, piston, piston rings, all the inlet and exhaust valves, main bearings and bottom end bearings.They also insured me they have been overhauling engines so many times and they have put their best man for this work.

Engine was disassembled and parts order was placed.The engine assembling started on Saturday .For all these 15 days I was regularly visiting the service centre for the status of my engine repair they said they will start the work when they are well and good.

On Saturday I also went to see the overhaul work and what they called their best man, the way he assembled my engine was complete disastrous for an engine and that too for the standards of HYUNDAI.

The technician and his manager too was having no knowledge of the torques at which bottom end and main bearing gets tightened.When I insisted about the torque tightening they brought the manual of the engine but they assured me that they have been doing the same work for many years nothing will happen and the work is done like that only.

After this only I got doubt that if they overhaul the engines without proper torque and proper procedures how come an engine can run in good manner.All the time I kept on asking that engine will run good or not they kept on assuring they do this all day and with all the engines .

NOW QUESTION RISES EITHER THE PROCEDURES LAID BY HYUNDAI IN ITS ENGINE REPAIR MANUAL IS WRONG OR THE PRACTICE THEY ARE DOING IS WRONG, NOT ONLY WITH MY ENGINES BUT ALL THE ENGINES BEING REPAIRED THERE.

THIS IS ONY ONE OR TWO MISTAKES I AM WRITING HERE, THERE WAS NOT EVEN SINGLE PROCEDURES FOLLOWED.

But after everything got boxed up and engine was ready for test run the engines starting motor got BURNED.After single kick of the engine, which can only happen because of overload of the motor. When investigated it was found that cam shaft got seized on the cylinder head and jamming of the engine .

After all this series of events which I witnessed definitely I will not be taking that repaired engine which would be definitely troubling in future . I would not be able to drive that car with that peace again .

So, Please Sir look upon this matter and get my engine replaced as definitely I cannot accept that substandard engine after that very poor repair.
These people are committing mistakes one after another and spoiling the name of HYUNDAI.

Sir you also understand my situation I have buyied a new car for my peace of mind and if it becomes like that how can I drive it without tension.
I hope you will bring an end to this long ailing chapter past 16 days my new car is at service centre.Please initiate the engine replacement process and bring end to my sufferings.It cannot be that these service centre people keep on making mistakes on my engine and I keep on suffering.
I was handed over customer docket at my purchase of car welcoming me to the HYUNDAI family, hopefully you will be doing the best for me and not compelling me to follow any other legal way .
Please suggest these people to change my engine with new spare as my car is new and whatever condition of engine have become is because of there poor knowledge and bad technicians.
Hopefully you understand my situation and my and my engines condition after reading this length of mail.

I am also attaching the photos of the seized camshaft for your perusal.This happened yesterday after starting motor got burned.

Please look upon this matter in serious manner as it is badly tanning image of our brand name HYUNDAI within me and my circle of relatives and friend circle.
