Hyundai Motor India — Unsatisfactory servicing of vehicles | |||
I purchased an i10 car on 30/12/2009 from Popular Hyundai, Trivandrum. I did periodical servicing of the vehicle at various authorised service centers of the company starting with KTC Automobiles P Ltd, Palghat. From the third service at Palghat Hyundai of Palghat Automotive P Ltd onwards I have been making complaints about the tightness of the accelerator pedal. They all used to apply lubricant oil and return the vehicle without replacing the cable. With the result the period of the extended warranty taken by me at the time of purchase of the vehicle also expired. When I approached Suryabala Hyundai, Pollachi for service and repair of the accelerator pedal on 10/10/2013, they said that they will charge me for the cost of the cable and fitting charges . I made a complaint(No.[protected] to the Customer Care Department of Hyundai on the same date(10/10/2013) which is still remaining unresolved. It is regretting to note that nothing has happened to redress my grievance except that some service centers called and told me to take the vehicle to the for repair of the same entirely at my cost.This is like persuading people to take extended warranty making all fake promises at the time of purchase of vehicles and cheating the public at large. I request the officials at the helm of affairs of Hyundai Motor Co India to look into the matter do the needful at the earliest Was this information helpful? | |||
