Pathetic service by goibibo. I tried booking a hotel near biju patnaik international airport, bhubaneshwar for my uncle as he could not board his flight for chennai (6e145) this evening.in the first go i found one hotel "oyo 43422 ma forest park inn, bhubaneswar, india" near the airport just (1.2km according to google maps). I tried booking this hotel but in the first go amount was deducted from bank account but the room was not booked (Booking id - htl69pszdq) and it showed in the application payment failed, rebook. So, i gave a second try and it was booked in the second attempt (Booking id - htlfpgpp66). So, i forwaded all the details regarding the hotel booking to my uncle and he took a cab from the aiport to this hotel. First of all it was not easy to locate but anyhow he reached the hotel, and makes a call to the hotelier to which the hotelier first enquires about the "booking id", "which booking platform was used", "under whose name the booking is made" and so on then replies that the hotel is closed and denies them entry. Then i try to reach the so called "customer service" of goibibo and file a complaint about "denied checkin into hotel" ticket id - [#31573792] from where i get to hear that they will fix this issue. After 30min the customer support guy calls me and tells that the hotelier said that the hotel is open and have not denied anyone from checkin into the hotel and also adds that the customer with booking id-htlfpgpp66 were demanding "lift" in the hotel and to no avail they left off. To which i replied the customer support that we have checked all the amienties before booking the hotel and bro seriously why we need a "lift" in a budget hotel, seriously!! Around 9 pm in the night why we will deny a hotel for not having a "lift" in it and we booked this hotel only because it was near to the aiport, and clearly i could make out that the hotelier was lying and denying from the actual reason as i had made the payment already and he has recieved the payment in his account and so, during the night one could do nothing rather than listen to his nonsense and leave the place as he has no concern about the individual who has came all the way from chandil, jharkhand travelling 400km on an hired ambulance just to catch a flight from biju patnaaik airport, bbsr to chennai and further travel till cmc hospital vellore for his serious health issues. I booked this hotel only because he could not board his flight as e-pass for the tamil nadu state was not processed till his boarding started so he postponed his flight for next 2 days (As direct flights operate in 2 days interval bbi - maa) and decided to stay in a nearby place till the e-pass was processed. But who knew that this trip will give him so much trouble than his illness. So, finally after getting no help from anywhere i came here to file a complaint against these money making institutions so that no other individual has to face these. And i need a full refund for these two bookings or else going to file a legal complaint and sue the institution for such troubles.
