Ibibo Group / Goibibo — failed to do an alternative for the passenger | |
Respected sir, I’m aleena maria moncy from kerala studying ba. Llb at national law university visakhapatnam. I booked a flight ticket through goibibo ([protected]@gmail.com) on sep 6th 2018 from visakhapatnam to calicut on the date of 16th oct 2018. Flight name - indigo (6e512 vtz to maa and 6e7189 maa to ccj) Pnr no - ces2jw Booking id - n6eces2jw Amount paid - rs.10, 514 Flight timings - vtz maa ccj Terminal terminal terminal 14:55 16:20 20:35 I reached visakhapatnam airport for check-in at 14:00. After check-in i approached the counter of indigo at 14:20. But i was not able to get the boarding pass as the counter was closed. Around 15:00 i approached the indigo office to find an alternative but i was informed that there was no way to get through it. I asked for any other flights to calicut or cochin but they said that no seats were available and they didn’t show any interest in sorting it out. Then i checked through the goibibo online site and i could find a ticket to cochin from visakhapatnam at 19:00 on the same day (16th october 2018 tuesday). Flight name - indigo (6e216 vtz to blr and 6e6505 blr to cok) Pnr no - hh945a Amount paid - rs. 9805 Flight timings - vtz blr cok Terminal terminal terminal 19:00 22:20 23:25 I was supposed to go to calicut but due to the circumstances i was unable to go to calicut directly. So after i got down at cochin i took a taxi to calicut at 00:30 which cost me rs. 7200 which created a huge loss to me. Also i reached home morning 5:00 which was not safe for a girl of 19 year old. So i humbly request to compensate for the damages caused during the travel which could not have happened if the needful was done at the perfect time.
