[Resolved] Ibibo Group / Goibibo — not received refund | |
I had attempted to book for a round-trip from bangalore to delhi for june 29th via goibibo on 26th may. The tickets were not booked but an amount of 8314₹ was deducted. After attempting to contacting them about this, unsuccessfully, they did respond much later saying that the refund will reach me within 5-14 bank working days. After almost the whole of that period, i tried contacting them, as the refund hadn't arrived by then, and they had said that there was some errors and they would be restarting the refund process afresh. They would not have given even this lie of a reply had i not asked. A further cycle of 5-14 days later and nothing still. All their phone numbers from the net are bogus and the whole setup seems a genuine fraud, rather than a company. What's required to end this scam? Jul 17, 2018 Complaint marked as Resolved They asked me to take it up with my bank and in doing so it came correct.
How much of that was coincidence or how much it was solely because I took it up with the bank, I don't know. Ibibo Group / Goibibo customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
