[Resolved] Ibibo Group / Goibibo — Severe complaint for flight ticket booking | |||||
This is regarding a severe complaint that I have to file for a case which happened to me recently while coming back from kuala Lumpur. I had booked a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Hyd (09/05/2017) via Singapore with the same PNR number. It was a transit flight through Singapore through Tiger Airways. But while returning when I reached airport, the airways people didn't allow me to board the flight as they were saying that there is no layover in Singapore and they are separate flights for which I was asked for singapore visa which obviously not carrying as in transit, no visa is required for few hours. Before leaving India I had confirmed about my ticket several times with Goibibo as well as about visa requirement. As it was Transit, Goibibo people said it was a transit so it will not be required. I had wait in KL for 2 more days and had to book another flight for 13000 INR for which I had no fault. In their system it was showing two different PNRs and complaining about the same they blamed us for booking from Goibibo and asked to book from their website ie Tiger airways only and not from Goibibo. I have booked almost thousands of flights and hotels of my friends and family from your portal which you can check in years but this is the most disappointing experience. This wasted my appointments in India for two days as well as I had to pay 13k extra. I need a solution for this immediately and want a refund for all. Otherwise I will have to take further steps forward at different levels. The reputation of Goibibo is almost going into ashes.
