Ibibo Group / Goibibo — Wrongly collect service charge on hotel stay | |
I was stayed in lemon tree, banjara hills, hyderabad from[protected] to[protected]. I raised a complaint (Ticket no. #[protected] against this stay. As per discussion on con-call with goibibo agent and hotel person, they have collected service charge which was optional. As per the government law, it depends on the customer whether he wants to pay service charge or not. But here it was forcefully collected.in the resolution, goibibo provide the voucher. As per the resolution of complaint, goibibo provide a voucher of 2000 rupees with the validity of 3 months till 14th june 2020. As per the current scenario, due to covid-19 all the journey was prohibited. Hence this coupon was useless till 14th june 2020. I was trying to connect with goibibo agent from may 2020 onwards. But due to covid goibibo closed all platform to connect with agent. I request to goibibo team kindly issue new voucher with 1 year validity or refund wrongly collected service charges into my bank account. Was this information helpful? | |
