[Resolved] ICICI Bank — airtel bank washed out my account balance | |||
Scam I got a call from customer care of airtel on 9th may 2018 saying i am missing their deadline of not replying to their sms of one month which they had send me for blocking of mobile number, if did not link my mobile with aadhar card. I told them there is a hc order saying there is not necessary to link mobile number with aadhar card now. They said the sms was one month back so i need to reply to 121 and i did so and said they will block my mobile number for 24 hours and again reactivate within after that. To my surprise after 2 days when the number was unblocked i went to airtel customer care but did not get a proper reply and said such scams are going on since last 2-3 months. I also went to check my bank balance and noted to my surprise that it was totally washed out and immediately enquired with icici bank and asked for updated statement and found that rs.55000/- was removed through airtel bank. I complained the dispute with the bank and also at nearest police station. Similar thing happened twice with my icici credit card early this year. Some company named audible ltd, london removed rs.700 which was not authorised or done by and i filed dispute with icici bank and also cancelled my credit card and they reissued new credit card. After three months same thing happened with rs.1000 from audible ltd. I got refund of first rs.700/- and again filed dispute with icici bank. They again said to block and cancel the credit card again. Sr. Police inspector said that there is a new order from rbi that bank has to refund the amount to the customer and the investigation can be carried out during and after the complaints. Same thing happened to me on 16th, logging a complain now, Government has fooled people with this Aadhar thing.
