Recently, my lifetime free credit card was about to expire. I went to the bank branch where I have my account to apply for a new credit card. Ideally, I wanted to purchase the same lifetime free credit card again alongwith ensuring that the credit profile that I have built over the years continues.
The responsible relationship manager and his associate informed me that I could not apply for the same type of credit card again and that I had to apply for different credit card. He influenced me to purchase a chargeable credit card instead.
I realised that this could is not the case and I could apply for whichever card I wanted to. Now I am trying to get this reversed / corrected.
