ICICI Bank — Credit Card Unnecessary Extra Charge

Hello, I purchased a product at Amazon from my ICICI BANK Credit Card and due to product not good I returned my product and Amazon revert my amount in credit card within billing cycle. But in the next bill i saw that Icici Bank update late payment charges. When i call customer care, Executive told me that revert amount not count in payment and i can revert only Rs. 140. Customer care executive said that amazon return amount not count for bill pay. Tell me please if return amount is not count then no value of return amount that's not money & if i pay bill the extra money who added the card bank pay me intrest or extra money for that.
