ICICI Bank — ICICI Bank Theft in Statement with unsuspecting customers | |
I had ordered 2 products of each costing 19, 199.03 INR on Amazon using EMI option and had cancelled the same on the same day and the amount was credited back from amazon. Card Statement also shows the same, 2 times the amount got credited back and same amount was adjusted to close both the EMI's. But the problem is that ICICI after doing this adjustment, they secretely deducted the amount 3rd time and charged me for a product i didnt buy, which purely amounts to theft on the unsuspecting customer. Since the amount was big, i noticed and contacted their online banking officer, after literally going through each spends with him for about an hour. he finally agreed there is an error in statement which shall be rectified by the bank in next 2 to 3 business days. I dont know how many o[censored]s have lost money to this kind of fraudalent transactions done by bank without our notice.
