[Resolved] ICICI Bank — misleading information provided | |||
I had a due of around 30000 on my credit card and i was making constant payments. However in the month of june bank auto debited 15000 from my account but now they are denying it. Although i got the message. I filled dispute and they acknowledged. Later after three months they again called and said there is no dispute filed and always said that they will call back but never did so. Finally in the month of november i got 16000 in my account but as they blocked my transactions and put my account on leen status. I told them to remove leen so i can withdraw amount and make the payment. But the caller instead said that i can settle the account by paying 16000 and they debited it from my account. No i am getting threatening calls from the collection department stating i have to pay the balance as the account is not settled. They say there is a procedure like getting a mail from bank in order to settle but i was not aware of that procedure. Now this person named (Sachin) and his collection boy (Vijay) both are threatening and insulting me saying i should know bank procedures and they are not responsible for what the previous person said. Sachin says that i should find the other person who gave me this information but its not possible for me to do so. He threatens me that he will insult me and sends vijay who harass my paralysed dad and my mom to make the payment. I told him that i am already in financial crisis that's why i paid 16000 or else i would have taken out that money and made the monthly payment. But he is too arrogant to listen.
