[Resolved] ICICI Bank — personal loan not disbursement even after 2 weeks although system shows disbursement date in past | |
I am losing trust on icici bank, they have become irresponsible and do not care about customers any more. Let me tell you the story. I applied for loan on march 05, 2019 over internet. Someone called me on march 06, 2019 and took all my details about me and confirmed that i will get the loan amount and also told me rate of interest. I agreed on it and he told me that someone would contact me for documents. He also gave me the list of documents. I requested him to send the person the next day. He confirmed that the person will come and collect document on march 07, 2019 between 5 pm and 6 pm. I mentioned that i have an urgent requirement and he confirmed me that, the loan amount will get disbursed to my account by 3 working days after i submit documents. I got a call from the person who was supposed to take my documents on march 07, 2019 and he confirmed me that he would come between 5 to 6. I waited for him till 6:30 in the evening, till i did not get a call back from him. I called him and he did not receive the call. On march 08, 2019 i called the customer care, they again asked me all the details that i already shared on march 06, 2019. The customer care person told me someone would come on the same day. I again reminded about the urgency. I waited for the whole day but again no one came. I called customer care on march 09, 2019 and told what happened and told about emergency situation. The person told me, someone would come on the same day. I however asked not to come on saturday evening in my home. Then on march 11, 2019, a person came and collected my documents, i asked him about the time it would take. The person told within 4 working days, it will be processed. Someone came to my home to verify address on march 14, 2019. On march 15, 2019 i got a sms from icici bank with a loan application id. I opened the website of icici bank and the details shows as, disbursement date march 15, 2019 and first emi march 15, 2019. I thought my loan got processed and sighed of relief. I called customer care on march 16, 2019, to my surprise they told me, it is under progress, nothing happened on the loan. I asked them, it shows disbursement date as march 15, 2019 on website. They could not give me a clue on that and told me to wait. On march 16, 2019 i complained on email to icici bank and got an automated reply within 48 hours, my query would be resolved. Nothing happened. No mail after that, no calls after that. At this point, it is more than 2 weeks, i applied for loan. Still, i waited for icici. Monday, a person came to my office and told me your verification is complete. But he could not give me a hint on when the amount will be processed. I waited one more day. Today morning, that is march 20, 2019 i again called customer care, they gave me a number [protected] and told me to contact as he is the person who is dealing with my request. I called the number but it is switched off. They can straight reject loan request if they cannot provide it on time. I could have checked with other banks to get a loan. Also, they do not have a way to close personal loan request from the customer end. So, i am already having some issue to handle with, on top of it icici added some more and thanks to their service, i have to find out how to close the loan request at least. This is how irresponsible icici has become. I now, lost all hope of getting my loan processed, i just need to know, if at all this will be processed or not. If not, please close the request. Also, i am planning to move my salary account to some other bank and close the whole account and break all ties with icici bank. Was this information helpful? | |

I'm Complaining about this issue to let you know the fraud number.
Please take severe action aganist these types of frauds, Earlier i lost 1000 with the fraud call.
