[Resolved]  ICICI Bank — the customer care is pathetic and rude

Today i called ICICI customer to cancel my Credit card. They don't have toll free number. Even though i have unlimited calls, i have been charged 1 rp/min. When the call starts, they play all the ads of loan and other stuff which kills first 5 mins just to get into the option of talking to representative. After that it takes atleast 15mins for them to attend.
For me the customer number in the queue started from 22 then 21, 20, 12 and for my surprise suddenly went to 45. When i ask the same thing they don't have answer for that. Its all making money even for customer care service. I called at 8.45pm IST and it took 18 mins to attend my call. After that they are telling Credit card department ends by 9pm and told me to call in the morning. Even after waiting for 18 mins and losing 18 rps, my purpose of call didn't get served. This is ridiculous as the problem is clearly with ICICI customer service. On top of that, the representative is denying to transfer the call to her supervisor. She didn't connect me to her supervisor at all. I had to disconnect the call and have call again in the morning. I request you to please take action on ICICI banking service who are not respecting the customers.

I agree with the complainant. The service of ICICI customer care is pathetic, queue is long, and they charge for the time in line. Plus they play all sorts of clutter audio which wastes the customer's time, and they charge the customer for all this waste. some times the call gets disconnected, and in that case, one has to start all over. Pathetic, really.
