[Resolved]  Icici Direct — DP charges till Dec-20

Hello,
My trading account number is: xxxxxxxxxxxx
I have been tricked into opening this account and was told that there were no charges annually or maintenance or brokerage charges. I did not connect my bank account to this account and still Rs. 826 have been deducted from my ICICI Savings account. How can that be done.

I tried contacting customer care on multiple occasions. It is a paid number and takes several minutes to actually get to the IVR menu to speak to the customer care executive. The call disconnects after a while and the customer is charged a hefty amount for the call. Absolutely ridiculous.

I need to know why I was charged this amount and demand a refund of it. Also, would like to cancel my trading / demat account with ICICI. I do not need it at all.
