Icici Direct — Though documents verified ICICI Direct put my account on hold | |||||
I opened my Demat account vide account No. IN[protected] and Trading account vide No. [protected] with ICICI Direct in second week of July, 2021. At the time of opening account documents along with photo and signature through video conference and after verification the account was successfully opened and there was no query at that particular time by the ICICI Direct. ON 29.07.2021 I received email from CDSL stating that "You are request to approach your Intermediary ICICI SECURITIES LIMITED and ensure that the missing incomplete documentation towards this KYC is completed and submitted." In this regard I try to contact the toll free number provided by ICICI Direct i.e., [protected] but there is no response that is the no connectivity and the call disconnect automatically. As I am unable to contact on toll free number I send email to ICICIdirect for which I received email that we will contact you within 2 working days, but even after one week there is no response from ICICI Direct. Finally I approached ICICI Bank Chaitanyapuri branch and in that i try to resolve the issue that they stated that as account was not opened with them they cannot help me and I have to contact directly online or I have to go some branch which is 20 KMS from my address. If ICICI Direct in unable to operate and not able to solve the issues online why they are showing as we are dealing online. If ICICI Direct is not able to operate and help online there services are waste of time. At the time of opening Demat and Trading account all the documents were submitted and verified. And simply after 15 to 20 days this issue arises for the default of ICICI Direct my account was on hold and I am unable to operate and I am incurring losses.
