Icici Direct — Trading account closure

Hi consumer grievance team, This is with regards to the below mail. I am trying to contact ICICI direct to get my trading account closed. However, they are not at all responding to my request.

These banks are doing so much of torture to the customers when we ask for an account closure. They doesn't even care about the requests. Please look into this issue and make sure the ICIC direct address the issue as soon as possible.

Seriously, are you guys kidding me. Even after sending repeated mails to your helpline, there are no responses from your side.
What are you guys? What sort of customer service is this? You should be ashamed of yourselves.

This is with regards to the below mail. I am not at all getting proper responses from the ICICI direct customer service team.
Seriously I have never ever seen such a worst customer service in my life. I myself was a customer service manager and I have never served any customers this way.

I seriously feel ashamed of your customer service and the way they speak to the customers. They simply pass the ball to other departments just to save their back.

I am trying to close an trading account and I am not able to close it. I have been sending an e-mail to your helpdesk and have been calling your customer care but no responses on how to close the account. Secondly, if I call your customer care the customer care reps just transfers the call directly to different departments and I was waiting on a line for over 60 minutes and I didn't get the resolution from your customer service reps. Honestly, my call was transferred to different department for over 9-10 times and none of them helped.

Seriously god knows what kind of customer service teams are you guys running. Bunch o[censored]seless personals with no skills and knowledge. Seriously pathetic and shame on your customer service.

I have written this mail WITH ATMOST DISAPPOINTMENT.

Hi team,

About currency limits and allocation. I was asked to do those activities by ICICI rep named. He said I have to do some transactions to make the account active and only then I will be able to close the account.

I have no idea how to clear the currency limits and currency funds allocation. Please call me on my number [protected].

Also, the form which you gave, how am I supposed to fill the details and sign it and send it back. It's in PDF. I am working from home and I don't have access to printer. You guys should come up with easy process for customers rather than making it so tedious and uncomfortable with your customer service.

What can be done now to get this closed as soon as possible. I am consolidating all my accounts and I want to close the ICICI account that I have. This trading and demat accout is linked to this ICICI account and I want this trading and demat to be closed before I close the savings account.

ACT SOONER and ACT SMARTER. Poor customer service..
