ICICI Direct — unnecessary amc charges debited | |
Icici direct is deducting unnecessary amc charges from my bank account even after having zero investment in equity. They have deducted twice from my bank account, that is, 68₹ and 826₹ on different dates in a year, 25th april 2018 and 30 may 2018 respectively. When i raised my concern they told me i have to visit nearest demat office and request for the closure and deactivate the service. When i haven't made any equity investment i should have not been deducted any amc (Annual maintenance charges). Please look into this matter and do the needful. Was this information helpful? | |

This is usual way of working in ICICIDIRECT - they debit any charges as per their whims and fancy, without proper notification or justification - even the narration in statement is coded, so customer does not understand what is he/she paying for - if you have other investing platforms to choose from, pls do so as even escalating issues in ICICIDIRECT fall on deaf ears - their Management email IDs are also just dummy IDs which never respond.
