[Resolved] Icici Lombard — fault promises and misleading indian customers

I have taken the car insurance policy on 7th nov 2017 from sales executive (Mr ravi) and he promised that i will get a carsense device within 15 days. First blunder was that the title was mentioned wrong on policy so i chased sales team and spoke to ravi who asked me to write an email to customer support for title correction which was not my fault. He refused to take any action and pathetic conversation. I wrote to support team and they sent me 1 page policy which has only title correction. Its again tricky that the policy has wrong title and one page has correction why did not i receive the complete new policy with correct name.

For car insurance policy i was chased like i have stolen money from icici lombard. Anyway i had purchased the poilicy and paid around 19k for this. Now till today i have not received any device so far. I had called several times to speak with ravi but was given # and pathetic excuses that he was on call will contact me within 5 mnts. I have not received any call from them. I chased 5 days continuous to know the status of device they have misguided me with false commitment.

I spoke to carsense team they have different story. They are not even aware about the product which was supposed to deliver. I called on 25 nov to car sense and a lady said that my address is not in serviceable area so they have to sent the device with different courier. She promised that the device will be sent by 27th nov. I called again today to carsense team and the same lady has no clue about the status of device. Its really # and pathetic service.

I called again to icici lombard sales team and they refused to give the status of device. Even ravi was quite busy in making fool to other customers. Neelam from sales team promised me that ravi will call me after 5 mnts and never received a call. After half an hour i called again and tried to speak with lire ravi but still he was busy in earning profit with indian customers. After this i lost my temper and the call was transferred to mr sunil bhatia, emp id - 1004618. Again he was asking me to contact support team for any complain. He said that he would raise a complaint on behalf of me and would provide me the reference number. After 20 mnts received call from sunil and he said that he had raised a complaint and forwarded to concern team but did not loop me in the email and did not provide me the reference number. How can i trust icici lombard. There are so # internal policies with indian company. There is no transparency with this company.

Are you flaunting the rules of IRDA to force people from buying insurance with the help of telematics device.
