[Resolved] Icici Lombard — Pathetic claims settlement | |||||
Dear Team, My dad has passed away on 18th NOvember. He was admited toone of the hospital and had a by pass.After by pass also doctor asked us to keep him hospitalised as the wanted to keep him under observation.Since he was critical we didnt opt for discharge. On 17th he got discharged and within 8 hours he got another attack and I admiitted him to another hospital.The total expense I ahd was 18, 00, 000 lakhs the policy I had till 5, 00, 000.ICICI approved 250, 000 only. I asked them that I need hospitalization reembursement which is covered under policy and the reply I recived is we cant provide that as you have not taken discharge and there is conitue hospitalization so per hospitalization we can give only one by pass.According to ICICI I should have my crtical pateient to outside hospital and should have been readmitted. They ahve taken 17th his death claim as valid hospitalization but not ready to consider the recommended criticall condition hispitalization. Second experience, ICICI has deducted No Intimation amount. Though I ahve already intimated them twice [protected] -[protected] and Vashi Branch reciptionist didnt give the information that you should intimate again for 17th as well and they didnt provide acknowledgement of my orginal documents. MY family is in shock already and ICICI is on top of it deducdting all unnecessary charges and customer care says we understand your problem but we cant do anything about the hospitalization as you have not re admitted.There is no presettlement discussion also. These are inhuman replies I get everytime I call ICICI.I expect a valid settlement with consideration.PLease refnd all the unwanted deductions and allow me to say that this is professional policy I am holding.
