Few days back i called up to share the information of my mothers's demise and i wanted the policy to get cancel. The call was taken over by priya she informed me that i need to send my mother's death certificate along with a cancel cheque to receive the cancellation amount as the policy was purchase for 2 years. I agree that due to her illness we used the policy from july 2017 till nov 2017 but i fail to understand that if i have paid in advance for july 2018 till july 2019 and i am asking to cancel am i not eligible to receive the cancellation amount (25% which was informed to my by priya on the fisrt call) i am sure you guys will have recording and you can listen to the same.
I received a call yesterday informing that i will get no amount and let the policy get lapsed because i have used the policy. But still my logic remains the same that i have paid for 2 years and if i have used for 1 year still my next year is pending and even the date has not even approached yet so why will i not get the amount.
I called up yesterday and agent name elias took the call, who was so poor and rude - which made me write an email rather then calling the service number again. As the customer care was extremely poor and helpless.
I would suggest who so ever will take the escalation please listen to the 3 calls and then only revert me back. Was this information helpful? |
