Denial of cashless request claim & access Claim of sunil kumar digambar bhasale Uhid[protected] Policy number 4113i/xol/83165750/01/000 Policy period 24-sep-2015 to Al number[protected] Icici lombard has denied cashless request of rs 31912 & further access for my claim on treatment on gallstone infection, by claiming nondisclosure of hypertension at the time of policy commencement. the two are unrelated. the policy has been terminated. There is no connection between gallstone infection & hypertension. My policy is in force since 5 jan 2007 and all pre-existing diseases are said to be covered after 4 years. Hypertension is a recent development. The gallstone treatment is yet incomplete and i have been advised for laproscopy for removal of the gall bladder itself. icici lombard is trying to avoid this treatment cost too by terminating the policy which is valid upto 6 jan 2019. Icici lombard is behaving unethically resorting to unfair trade practices when it comes to claim settlement. Pl look into the matter and advice icici lombard to honour its commitments.
