ICICI Prudential Life Insurance — I protect term plan

I had taken policy in jan 2017 and in july 18 i had gone through angioplasty, but not claimed through icici pru, just informed them about the same in end of july 18.

In response to the same, we state that the aforesaid policy was issued on january 29, 2017 basis the application received. Further, due to non-receipt of renewal premium amount due for october 2018, the policy had attained to lapse status.

We understand that you had approached the company for reinstatement of the policy. Post evaluation, requirement for medical was triggered and we understand that the same was completed by you. On assessment, the request for revival of the policy was declined due to past medical history of angioplasty.

Accordingly, the company had processed the refund of premiums received under the policy and we understand that you are in receipt of the same.
