[Resolved] ICICI Prudential Life Insurance — regarding refund | |||
This is regarding policy plan life stage assure (Pension plan) policy no: 12115392 which i had bought in 2009 and for the same i had paid rs.40, 000 as annual premium. The policy was given to me by the deputy manager of icici bank sector 9 rohini new delhi branch. I was told i had to pay annual premium for minimum 3 years. If in case of any failure in the payment then the company will keep the premium for minimum 5 years and thereafter i can withdraw the paid premium. Due to some unfortunate reasons i was unable to pay the premium amount for 3 years but paid for 1 year. It's been more than 5 years now and still haven't heard anything from the bank regarding what is the further process. Also to mention at the time of buying the policy no email id was registered and the mobile number given at that time has been changed now. Due to which there was a communication gap / failure leading to not knowing how to proceed for the same. For the same i had called the bank customer care and i was told that the policy has been foreclosed and the amount can't be withdrawn now. But at the time of buying the policy i was given the other above stated details. I even sent mails to grievance redressal officer but there is so response from him also.
