[Resolved] Idea Cellular — Account not closed even after sending email | |||
I have requested to close the account, well in advance, through mail. No action is taken and they are accumulating the bills and sending reminders every month. On number of occassions, replying to bill payment demands, i am asking them to close the account. At one time i have tallked to custcare rep and i was informed that they have received the mail and the same has been forwarded to concerned department in last week of sept itself. But no action has been taken. frankly i dont remember the date but before the concersation i heard that, that call will be recorded for quality purpose. I have received calls and i explained what i have done. They listened to me and said that they will come back to us. but instead of call, i will receive a mail that no request for closure of account is received. i received auto generated acknowledgements for my mails and some tome tickets also raised. even then, i am receiving mails that i have not requested for closure of accounts. (email reference i have received in auto generated mails viz:mail reference Id E1-[protected]. some times tickets also raised viz:Ticket Date : 07/Nov/2016---Ticket Number : TCT[protected]) on 22nd september i have sent mail to close the account with effect from 1st october 2016. on 25th september i have reminded them with another mail requesting to close the account. on 12th october i have received bill payment mail and i replied to close the account. (other mails as per dates mentioned on them) there are some more mails, i can provide, if necessay. === i have sent all related mails and acknowledgements. and still they are telling that i have not requested for closure. I have port-in my number [protected] into idea. Yesterday i got the message of port in request approval. Then i inserted the new sim card and gave the call on 59059 but no body is giving any response since last night.
This is pathetic. I am suffering due to this because incoming and outgoing both restricted.

My number 744742*** show bill of 2932 and services are barred. Last month bill was 949 that was generated on 15th of this month. Now suddenly after I had request change in plan, Idea App shows 2932 Rs outstanding. And services are barred.
