[Resolved]  Idea Cellular — addon problems and thereby hyped bills

I opted for a 1GB add on pack in October/November for charge of Rs.100.
Despite request of dis continuing this service from January in call with customer care they still continued the service.
Again in Feb, I called customer care where the guy accepted the mistake and took the request to discontinue the request.
Even I was offered the discount of Rs 100 for three months for the mistake by your client.

Still the service was not de-activated. So I decided to close all relation with your client Idea and port to Airtel.
The first potability request was cancelled without any intimation and since as per my calculations I underplayed the bill.
Then I went to Idea gallery and asked them to clear off all my dues, they said you just need to pay three hundred plus rupees and all your dues will be cleared off.
It is Idea who calculated all the amount this time and since portability request is approved I felt all the dues are settled.
Had it not been the case the portability request should have been cancelled.

I think your client is now being dis-honest in the way calculation are being done to fetch additional Rs.535.
How are they calculating:
I had a 15 day billing cycle for which I had to pay 350 (Monthly plan plus addon(calculated by Idea)).
As per your client's calculation the ad on will be split so I had to pay Rs. 50 for 512 mb. This okay.
for the next 512 mb they are charging me like anything (500+). It is also not fair that if I have a service of Rs. 100 why I should be charged for more than 100?

Note that I had a plan which provides me 1gb per day in last month and it is sufficient for me.
But as per your client first add on data will be consumed on the first day of billing cycle. which as mentioned multiple requests have been made to disable the service.

I tried to resolve this issue contacting Idea customer care:
Their statement is since I am no more Idea customer, they cannot lodge a complaint.

I tried mailing the customer care to Idea (Reference ID E[protected]. They contacted me and said they will check the call transcripts and revert to me. I am still waiting.

Then I went to Idea Gallery to clear this issue they also took my request but the response was you need to pay at least half of the amount, rest would be waived off.
But why should I pay? My morality didn't allowed me to pay and I was waiting for 30 days time period after which I could contact applet office.

Now I am served with a legal notice to pay the Rs. 535 in 3 days else they would initiate criminal and civil proceedings
