I am an idea customer from last 7 years. On 14jul 2017, i called idea customer care to know about any special offers on my number. The executive (Probably her name was deepa) told about a recharge of rs.347 where i wil get 1gb 3g data per day and free calls (Daily 300 mins) for 28 days. Post completion of 1gb of each day, the speed wil be 2g for remaining usage in the day. I immediately recharged with rs.347. But the speed received was as poor as 2g. For 3 days i kept caling customer care and trying on different settings to get 3g, but to no avail. The customer care executive, with whom i came in contact on 17jul 2017, revealed that mine was a 2g recharge only and now nothing could be done for this. This was really shocking as when we are happily using 3g/4g speed, why would one switch to 2g. But idea has made this a new way of fooling customers with fraud recharges. Dont ever go for any idea connection. They are playing fraud these days. Was this information helpful? |
