I am writing to idea as a formal complaint.
I have been using Idea [protected] since years. I used to live in Pune and now have shifted to Goa. I have raised many complaints since November 2019 about the network issues I have been facing. Every time the network team calls me and says that the network will improve in 72 hours and it’s been 2 months now, 72 have not ended yet. I have spoken to a supervisor previously and he mentioned that there is nothing that Idea can do as network checks have been done and also he can see usage on my sim. I can use Idea only at certain places and hence shows usage. There is network problem and most of the time I am unable to use my data or call anyone from Idea number cos of the network. I have to come out of the house for the same. I don’t think I am getting any benefit whatsoever. You can see usage in my bill and hence I am liable to pay. I am not getting the promised services and hence I was to legally complaint. I have also asked for port out but none of your reps or the supervisor was able to help me.
I want this to be considered as a formal legal complaint. Also I do not want anyone from the network team to call me as they cannot help me at all. I will not pay my o/s bill till I get a resolution and my number should not be barred too as it is connected to everything as banks or other places.
I want a resolution. I want to move out asap and also compensation for all the problems caused. I will further send this email to the local consumer court to let them know that I have complained to Idea already.
Idea also has the worst customer care. Few representatives do not even understand you. I asked a supervisor for Port Out number and he asked me to check with the new network provider. I did not understand that at all. He just wanted me to hang up. He was least interested in what i was telling him. My new network provider asked me to check with Idea for MNP port out number and the sup denied.
Few months have been really bad. Almost a year now. Paying 500 INR every month is a very bad deal. I don't think that adds value for money. I want to appeal the consumer court for compensation. Cos of poor network i faced a huge loss as no one was able to get in touch with me. I had to buy a new jio sim to use internet. Paid alot for almost months and got nothing. This network sucks big time. I will go to the court but before that i want someone to help me with port out.
