[Resolved]  IFB Industries — conveying dissatisfaction of recent ifb washing machine servicing

On 13th october i, dilip jayavant reported complaint on ifb toll free number which i got from ifb website. The toll free number was[protected]. Within next half an hour i got phone call from ifb service station. Later i came to know that ifb franchised this to “city service” technician came to my house, address c4-302, lake town chs, bibwewadi, pune, 411037. He inspected the washing machine and confirmed that display need to replace. I purchased this washing machine in late 2016. It has not completed it’s 2 years. Ifb claims it’s 4 years 100% warranty. But never ever any of the machine contents warranty terms and conditions. I asked technician it comes in warranty. It told me “it’s only for drum and belt and not for other parts” then i called ifb sales office and confirmed the terms. They confirmed that it warranties for all parts. I went back to service technician again. He told me “you know how sales personals bluff while selling”.
After i decided to pay the repair charges which is rs.4000 for replacing the display. I called technician and i asked him to fix. Meanwhile i came across service manager who called from mumbai. He used to call me from this number[protected]. He confirmed i will get complaint number, invoice with gst along with 2 years warranty on repairs. After calling 3 days constantly it got fixed with different machine’s repaired part. Washing machine is started but i have received my repaired part back. After calling technician he told me “this happens and why i am calling again and again. If i want to go high court (Might he wants to say consumer court) i can.” the part that received was old and damaged which is not from my washing machine’s model for which i pay rs.32000 at the time of purchase. Later i purchased rs.4000 for repairs. I have not received gst bill.

I am amazed if you IFB’s part is so vulnerable to voltage fluctuations and there is no protection then their product designing team needs training.
