Hi, It pains me to say that the managerial staff engaged in guwahati by ifb has been the worst i have ever encountered. Let me elaborate why. The problem with my ac (Modelno iacs183ak3tc) which i purchased in 2014 started in july 2018 when the compressor of the ac used to get switched off automatically after running for 1:15hrs or 1:30hrs. The issue was raised accordingly and ifb technician mr. Narayan kalita visited to check the issue. Thereafter, mr. Narayan replaced the capacitors of both the compressor fan as well as the compressor, although after some escalations in which even ifb's manager placed at guwahati mr. Roshan was called up from my side, the issue was thought to be resolved. Again in mid august 2018, just after a month or so of the capacitors' replacement, the same issue resurfaced all over again. This time another technician mr. Dimple barman visited and found out that the gas in the compressor was more than the stipulated amount due to which the compressor used up more current, thus generating more heat and stops to operate. He then reduced the gas to the stipulated level (55-65) and again, the issue was thought to be resolved. Unfortunately, after 3-4 week the problem resurfaced again and when the complaint was raised, mr. Dimple barman replaced the compressor as well as the compressor capacitor on 20th september 2018. But he didn't do the vacuum procedure for which the compressor now stopped functioning after running for only 10-15 mins. The issue was raised to mr. Roshan all over again and he (Mr. Roshan) assured that senior technician, mr. Jayanta would visit the next day, i. E on 21st september 2018 by 10:30am. On 21st september, mr. Barman came and did the vacuum procedure after which the compressor ran for an hour and stopped functioning all over again. As senior technician mr. Jayanta didn't accompany mr. Barman, the issue was raised to mr. Roshan who was totally unaware that mr. Jayanta hadn't visited and even lied that whenever it rains the compressor stops functioning (It was raining then) and even scolded the technician mr. Barman for not supporting his blatant lie. This is fyi that i was associated ith telecomm sector for 8.5 years and i am aware of the technical issues and under no circumstance the compressor ceases to function unless the room temperature becomes equal to the temperature in which the ac has been set. The issue was raised to local bsm mr. Anikesh kumar, who received my first call to him and didn't respond to the second call. The same was raised to ifb support which joined my call to someone from hyderabad, wh assured me of all the required assistance. In the mean time, senior technician mr. Jayanta visited at around 4:50pm. After the compressor got switched off for the first time on 21st september after the vaccum procedure was carried out, the ac functioned seamlessly for more than 3 hrs till mr. Jayanta visited. He advised that a new ac has to be run on 22-25'c for the very first time and only after running the ac (New) for an hour or so on 22-25;c, it can be used in super mode (16'c). That's why the compressor got switched off after running for an hour or so as it was put on super mode as the compressor happened to be a new one (The latest ticket no. Was [protected]) Thereafter, received a call from bsm mr. Anikesh kumar inquiring about the issue and the same was conveyed to him The response of mr. Roshan, the local manager has been pathetic and what was more pathetic is that he lied to the customer. Is this the quality of a person ifb employs as manager.
