I had purchased IFB front load Senorita Aqua SX 6.5 with sr no[protected]. The Washing machine was purchased just 1 year before.Our personal ID no is 11276020. We had been given 100% Warranty for 4 years and spare parts support. The machine was purchased based on the 100% warranty. I have been asked to pruchase the liquid detergents also from them at the time of installation so that the machine as well as the clothes do not spoil. We are only two persons in our family and we were purchasing only IFB, and we know how to handle IFB front load machines since we were using these kind of machine sine 35 years. Now the present machine purchased was leaking from the front side sine a month and when we complained to service centre, we were told by the service engineer that the door gasket has to be changed as it is torn and informed that we have to pay around 5000/-.( complaint no [protected]) We complained to the service head Mr Rajat in ph no [protected], and he sent another person, who checked and informed that the front gasket has to be changed which will cost around Rs3000/-. when Warranty is there why we should pay for the part., we were handling the machine properly only and how the gasket torn with in a year. The company can not just escape that it is rubber part and we have to pay. With what guarantee we are purchasing this type of costly machines if it has to tear with in a year and why we should pay for the costly spare part ( door gasket). How this can tear with in a year when they give warranty for 4 years. What is the meaning of 100% warranty. Request the IFB to take note of this and replace the gasket free of charge, otherwise we will be constrained to propagate the bad quality of present IFB machines to all friends and relatives.
